Ultra Jack

An ultra bushing is a vibration-damping rubber-metal bearing .

Ultra bushings consist of an inner and an outer metal sleeve that are connected by a vulcanized elastomer layer . This means that ultra bushings can compensate for twisting as well as axial, radial and cardanic movements. It is used to isolate vibrations and to guide movements. The ultra socket acts as a torsionally elastic coupling , maintenance-free joint or can be used to suspend systems. In vehicle construction , it is also used as an axle guide element and for assembly mounting.

Special forms of the ultra bushing are the window bushing and the wishbone bearing.
