Naming
The name Ultralativ goes back to the neologism used by the poetry slammer Jan Philipp Zymny as an enhancement of the superlative .
Conception
In the videos, Ultralativ u. a. with EU copyright law , the role model function of influencers and the balance of power on YouTube . Such videos are usually thoroughly researched and offer an easily consumable range that makes complex topics understandable for young people. Satire, sarcasm and criticism play an important role in this.
Grimme Online Award 2019
Ultralativ received the Grimme Online Award in the Knowledge and Culture category in 2019 . The eulogy for Ultrativ held Hazel Brugger . Another seven nominees were proposed for this category. Ultimately, Ultralativ was named the winner by the jury.
