The Uludoruk ( 4135 m ) is the second highest mountain in Turkey .
The Uludoruk ("Great Peak") is located in Hakkari Dağları ( Eastern Taurus ) in the Yüksekova district of the Hakkâri province . Other names are Reşko Tepesi (kurd.) Or occasionally Gelyaşin . The Uludoruk is part of the 30 km long Cilo mountain range. The next peak, Cilo Dağı (4116 m), is in the immediate vicinity (4 km away) and is the third highest mountain in Turkey. The İzbırak Glacier of Uludoruk Summit was 4 km long in the 1970s and covered an area of 8 km². By 2012–2013 the area had decreased to 3.51 km² (→ glacier retreat since 1850 ).
