Unai Yus

Unai Emilio Yus Querejeta (born February 13, 1974 in Vitoria-Gasteiz ) is a former Spanish cyclocross and road cyclist.

Unai Yus started his career in 1999 with the cycling team Matesica Aboboda . In 2001 he moved to Cantanhede-Marques de Marialva , where he won the one-day race Porto-Lisboa and a stage in the Tour of Portugal . Two years later he was successful on a section of the Volta a Terras de Santa Maria. For the 2004 season, Yus moved to Brioches La Boulangère , where he won a stage of the Hessen Tour . In 2005 he became the Spanish cyclocross champion. Later in the season he took part in the Vuelta a España and was sixth there twice. He also won three other cross races. In the 2006 season he drove for Paredes Rota dos Moveis , where he won seven cross races. In 2007 he was successful in cyclocross six times, including the Ciclocross Ciudad de Valencia .
