The police series shows a brigade of the National Gendarmerie led by a mother, Isabelle Florent (Corinne Touzet), first in Auxerre (1996-2000), then in Vaucluse, particularly in Beaumes-de-Venise (2001-2002) and finally in Grasse (2003-2007).
First a sergeant, then a gendarmerie officer, the fictional character Isabelle Florent receives the gold medal for national defense with the staples "Gendarmerie nationale" and "Gendarmerie départementale" as well as the bronze medal for courage and commitment.
