Unhocomo is an island in the west of the Bissagos Archipelago . It is located off the coast of Guinea-Bissau in the Atlantic Ocean in the immediate vicinity of the west coast of the northern half of Africa .
Administratively, the island has belonged to the UN sector since 2004 , previously to the Caravela sector . Unhocomo is 104 km² and has 678 inhabitants.
To the north of the island is the island of Caravela and to the east of it are the islands of Unhocomozinho and Uno .
