União das Freguesias de Cedofeita, Santo Ildefonso, Sé, Miragaia, São Nicolau e Vitória , shorter Cedofeita, Santo Ildefonso, Sé, Miragaia, São Nicolau e Vitória , occasionally União das Freguesias do Centro Histórico do Porto , is a municipality ( Freguesia ) in the district ( concelho ) of Porto in northern Portugal . 40,440 inhabitants live in the municipality on an area of 5.43 km² (as of 2011 figures).
The municipality represents the inner city municipality of Porto. It also includes the historical center of Porto , which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996 .
The municipality was created in the course of the territorial reform in Portugal on September 29, 2013 by amalgamating the municipalities of Cedofeita , Santo Ildefonso , Sé , Miragaia , São Nicolau and Vitória .
