The United National Democratic Party (UNDP) was a political party from Antigua and Barbuda . It was established in 1986. In the 1989 general election , the party received 31% of the vote. The only one of the 16 candidates who could achieve a victory in his constituency was the future Prime Minister Winston Baldwin Spencer, who moved into the House of Representatives for the constituency of St. John's Rural West . In 1992 the party merged with the Antigua Caribbean Liberation Movement and the Progressive Labor Movement to form the United Progressive Party .
