Capitol complex
The Capitol Complex ( United States Capitol Complex ) is a group of about a dozen buildings and facilities located in Washington, DC at the Capitol group. It mainly houses facilities that were originally housed in the Capitol itself, but for which space in the main building became too scarce over time. This includes several buildings of the Library of Congress and the Supreme Court . The architect of the Capitol is responsible for the administration and supervision of the ensemble .
Facilities
The Capitol is the central building of the ensemble. Grouped around it are:

- United States Capitol Visitor Center
- The Capitol Grounds
