The United States Marine Drum and Bugle Corps is a United States Marine Corps ensemble based in Washington, DC (8th & I, Marine Barracks ). It was founded in 1934.

It consists of 80 active soldiers. The main assignment is to give concerts for or on behalf of the Commandant of the Marine Corps , hence the nickname The Commandant's Own . The band plays military music and popular music .
