The Universidad Americana (PAR) is a university based in Asunción and Ciudad del Este , Paraguay . There is another location in Encarnación .
It was founded in 1994. Over 9,000 students are looked after by more than 200 professors and lecturers at four faculties and in 12 fields of study. The current president is Juan Alberto Beranger.
