Konyang University

The Konyang University is a private university in Nonsan , South Korea. It also has a branch in Daejeon that trains doctors and nurses and a branch for non-university education in Gyeryong.

The university was founded in 1991. In 2009 there were about 10,000 students enrolled at the university. About 5% of them were foreigners, almost all of them from China. The founder and for a long time President was Kim Hee-soo. Chung Yeon-ju is now president.

In 2010, the university and ten other South Korean universities became funding recipients of a program called the Advancement of College Education (ACE) program.

Konyang's motto is "Truth, Creativity and Service".
