Uno is an island in the middle of the Bissagos Archipelago . It is located off the coast of Guinea-Bissau in the Atlantic Ocean in the immediate vicinity of the west coast of the northern half of Africa .
The island is part of the UN sector . It is 104 km² and has 3324 inhabitants.
To the west of the island are the islands of Unhocomozinho and Unhocomo , to the south is Orango and to the north Uracane . The island is, like the rest of the archipelago, in the UNESCO - Biosphere Reserve .
