The house Unter dem Birnbaum 4 is a listed building in Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

location

It is registered in the Quedlinburg monument register as a residential building and is located south of the Quedlinburg Schlossberg on the south bank of the Mühlgraben . The building, which is also listed, is adjacent to Unter dem Birnbaum 3 to the west.

Architecture and history

According to an inscription on the threshold of the first floor, the half-timbered house was built in 1718. Pyramid beam heads can be found as decoration . In front of the threshold of the second floor of the three-story house is a profile plank that was added during renovations at the end of the 18th century. The roof was renewed around 1870.

The house entrance door is designed in a classical style and has a skylight .
