Sub-sheet

As a sub-sheets or Amphigastrien is known in the moss - order Jungermanniales , so in the leafy liverworts , the leaves of the third row of sheets, which is located on the bottom of the stems.

The lower leaves are usually much smaller than the "normal" flank leaves. In many species they are deeply divided into two or four lobes.
