Unterseilberg is a district of the municipality of Grainet in the Lower Bavarian district of Freyung-Grafenau .

Unterseilberg is located in the Bavarian Forest about two kilometers west of Grainet on the state road 2630.
history
Unterseilberg belonged to the Obmannschaft Rehberg in the sub-office of the Wolfstein Regional Court in Passau and consisted of 13 properties in 1788. After secularization , Unterseilberg became part of the Rehberg community when the communities were formed in 1818, with which it came to the Grainet community on April 1, 1971 as part of the regional reform .
In 1987 Unterseilberg had 118 inhabitants. The place was awarded a gold medal at the state level in 1991 in the competition Our village should be more beautiful . In 2009, 56 beds were offered in holiday apartments on one horse farm and two farms.
Attractions
- Local chapel. The outwardly inconspicuous wooden structure was built in 1766, as indicated by the year on a vaulted beam. Completely painted, the ceiling shows the passion story of Jesus in 23 pictures.
