description

The four-axis building with a red brick facade has in its lower part two round and arched openings that combine the ground floor and the first floor. A narrow ornamental band above separates the upper half of the facade, which in turn spans two floors. Here, between broad pilaster strips, groups with four or six rows of slender rectangular windows are arranged between slender pillars with muntin division. A slightly protruding cornice closes off the facade at the top opposite the crowning mansard roof . The transformer station adapts to the proportions and roof shape of the surrounding tenement buildings, but the technical function is clearly visible.
