Evinghausen is a district of the city of Bramsche . The farmers are located in the southeast of Bramsche.

Evinghausen is a rural scattered settlement, to which the Uptrup farmers belong.

The village is best known for its Evinghausen Waldorf School , which was created in 1970 from the former village school and consists of a kindergarten, school, bookstore and Johanneshof as a curative educational facility.

Uptrup

The Uptrup farming community with 42 inhabitants is part of Evinghausen and is located in the middle of a clearing in the Northern Teutoburg Forest-Wiehengebirge nature park at an altitude of approx. 250 meters above sea level.

Uptrup is around 800 years old and consists of five farms, two older cottages and a newer bungalow (1970). The inhabitants live mainly from cattle and pigs as well as the cultivation of various types of grain and organic vegetables.

In Uptrup the ant educational path of the ant protection station Osnabrück eV begins , the tree educational path on the Steinberg (created by the Bramsche secondary school), part of the Terra.trail 3 cycle path with the focus on the earth history of Terra Vita and the hiking path of the Schmittenhöhe home association.
