Urfinn -Ugric is a reconstructed original language and the source language of the Finno-Ugric languages . It comes from the Urural language , which was divided into Urfinnougric and Ursamoyedic . However, this classification is not straightforward. Urfinn-Ugric can also be understood as a geographical group of Urural dialects because the differences are small. It is believed that Urfinn-Ugric was spoken in the area between the Baltic Sea and the Urals .

Ur- Finno Ugric had seven cases : nominative , genitive , accusative , locative , allative , ablative and adverbial , significantly fewer than some of today's Finno-Ugric languages ​​such as Finnish (15 cases).
