Ur (unit)

The Ur was a liquid measure in the Grand Duchy of Transylvania and was also similar to the Ur as a measure of grain . The measure corresponded to the bucket .

• 1 Ur = 570 ² ⁄ ₃  Parisian cubic inches = 11.56 liters (11.5696)

The dimensional chain started from the bucket and was

• 1 bucket = 4 quarters = 8 Ur = 92.557 liters
• 1 Ur = 8 Measures = 16 Halves = 32 Seidel

The Siebenbürger Maaß was almost the same as the Viennese Maaß in practice (1.445 to 1.415015 liters).
