The Urbanek Crag ( English ; Polish Urbankowa Turnia ) is a steep promontory of Mount Pilots on King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located between the Polar Committee Icefall and the Ladies Icefall on the banks of the Ezcurra Fjord .
Polish scientists named him in 1980 after the paleontologist Adam Urbanek (1928–2014), formerly president of the polar scientific committee of the Academy of Sciences in Warsaw .
