Urs Behnisch
Urs Behnisch (born August 17, 1959 ) is a Swiss legal scholar . He is a lawyer and emeritus professors at the University of Basel .
Life
After studying law, Behnisch passed the bar exam in 1986 . From 1986 to 1993 he worked as an assistant and senior assistant at the University of Bern , where he received his doctorate in 1989 and qualified as a professor in 1996 . He then became a lecturer in Bern . Since 2006 he has been an associate professor for tax law at the University of Basel .
His main areas of activity include corporate tax law , restructuring law and criminal tax law . In parallel to his academic work, he works as a lawyer.
