Urs Graf the Younger

Urs Graf the Younger (* 1512 in Basel ; † before February 8, 1559 in Romagna ) was a Swiss goldsmith.

As the son of Urs Graf the Elder , he learned the goldsmith's trade from his father. In 1530, his stepfather Thoman Wels asked the City Council of Solothurn to hand over Graf's parental property and grandfather Hug Graf's goldsmith's tools. Because of his way of life, Graf was also under tutelage all his life. From 1544 the goldsmith Johann Rudolf Faesch was his governor. He died a rice walker .
