Ursula Goldenbaum

Ursula Goldenbaum (* 1952 ) is a German philosopher.

Life

Goldenbaum studied philosophy at the Humboldt University in Berlin . In 1983, she was with a dissertation on Spinoza's Political Philosophy PhD .

Between 1992 and 1997, Goldenbaum carried out research in Potsdam at the European Enlightenment Research Center (FEA). In 1998 she moved to the Institute for Philosophy at the TU Berlin , where, after completing her habilitation in 2001, she held a teaching position from 2002. Goldenbaum is a professor in the Philosophy Department at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Ursula Goldenbaum is the daughter of the politician Ernst Goldenbaum and his second wife Käte Goldenbaum .
