Ursula Körtner (born August 10, 1946 in Bad Pyrmont ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and former member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Private

After attending elementary and secondary school in Bad Pyrmont, she studied at the commercial college in Hameln . Then she worked as a clerk in Bad Pyrmont. She is married and has three children.

Career

Ursula Körtner has been a member of the CDU since 1976 and as such a member of the state executive committee of the CDU Lower Saxony as well as deputy district chairwoman of the CDU Hanover.

From 1994 to 2013 she was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament. There she acted among other things as chairwoman of the working group Kultus and as a deputy member of the council of elders. She was a member of the culture committee and the data protection commission as well as a deputy member of the committee for legal and constitutional questions. In the 2003 and 2008 elections , she won the direct mandate in the Bad Pyrmont constituency . She did not run for the 2013 state election .

She is also a councilwoman for the city of Bad Pyrmont (since 1986), a member of the district council of the Hameln-Pyrmont district and a member of the administrative board of the Bad Pyrmont municipal savings bank.
