Ursula Karlowski (born October 29, 1962 in Oberhausen ) is a German biologist and politician for the Greens . From 2011 to 2016 she was a member of the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

biography

Ursula Karlowski studied biology at the Universities of Bielefeld and Bonn and received her doctorate in Bonn in 1995.

politics

Ursula Karlowski has been a member of Alliance 90 / The Greens since 2009. From 2009 to 2014 she was a member of Rostock's citizenship . In the election on September 4, 2011 , she was elected to the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania via number 5 on her party's state list. There she was environmental and agricultural policy spokeswoman for the Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen parliamentary group and a member of the parliament's agricultural committee. When preparing the state list of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen for the state election of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in 2016, at the state delegates' conference of the Bündnis Grünen in Stralsund in October 2015, it was ranked 15th with the result of the state elections in 2016, for Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen with 4.8 percent of the votes cast missed re-entry into the state parliament, they lost their state parliament mandate.
