Ursula Lohn

Ursula "Uschi" Lohn (born November 7, 1966 in Cologne ) is a former German soccer player .

She started her career at Fortuna Cologne . She later switched to Grün-Weiß Brauweiler and ended her career at TuS Ahrbach . At first she was a striker , but later switched to the libero position .

She made 26 international matches for the German women's national soccer team , scoring nine goals. In the final of the European Championship in 1989 , she scored two goals in a 4-1 victory over Norway . One of them was voted goal of the month . Six years later she became European champion for the second time and was runner-up at the 1995 World Cup. The final against Norway was also their last international match.

For her sporting success with the national team, she received the Silver Laurel Leaf .
