Ursula Molka (born October 12, 1964 in Bad Godesberg ) has been director of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament since 2012 .

Professional background

Molka studied law in Trier from 1983 to 1989 and after her first state examination worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Environmental and Technology Law at the University of Trier . From 1991 to 1994 she completed her legal clerkship in the judicial district of Koblenz. After the second state examination , she worked for the tax offices of Trier and Koblenz until 1998 .

From 1998 to 1999 she was training and further education officer at the Oberfinanzdirektion (OFD) Koblenz.

In 1999 she moved to represent the state of Rhineland-Palatinate at the federal and European Union level. In 2001 she returned to OFD Koblenz, where she was responsible for income tax law until 2003 .

Career in the highest state administration

From 2003 she moved to the State Chancellery of Rhineland-Palatinate . She took over the management of the office of the head of the State Chancellery Martin Stadelmaier and from 2005 she took on the position of personnel officer and deputy head of department. In September 2010, she moved to the Ministry of Justice as Head of the Justice Administration Department .

From 2011 to 2012 she was ministerial director and permanent representative of the head of the State Chancellery Rhineland-Palatinate as well as department head for the department coordination in the state chancellery.

She has been the director of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament since December 15, 2012.
