activities
Stadelmaier advocates a GEZ levy by all mobile phone and PC owners.
With the household fee, every household would be subject to a fee, regardless of the device ownership. With the modified device levy, the possession of a smartphone leads to the full tax liability. In future, the burden of proof should lie with the person liable to pay the fee, no longer with the GEZ. Commercial users should also be affected by the new regulation.
According to Stadelmaier, the new fee should be exactly 17.98 euros per month.
