Ursula Schwarzl

Ursula Schwarzl (* 1960 in Ried im Innkreis ; also Uschi Schwarzl ) is an Austrian politician ( Greens ). From 2003 to 2006 she was a Member of the Tyrolean Parliament , in November 2019 she became Deputy Mayor in Innsbruck selected.

Life

Schwarzl studied teaching at the University of Innsbruck and came to the Innsbruck Greens through the university representation and Nicaraguan politics. In 1989 she was elected to the Innsbruck municipal council, and in the early 1990s she was the first female city councilor in the history of Innsbruck. Between September 2003 and May 2006 she represented the Tyrolean Greens as a member of the state parliament . She is currently city councilor of the Greens in the Innsbruck municipal council, responsible u. a. for transport and culture, and represents the Greens in several committees. In November 2019, she was elected Vice Mayor of Innsbruck as the successor to Christine Oppitz-Plörer .
