The Usher Glacier is a 6 km long glacier on the north coast of King George Iceland in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It flows in a north-westerly direction and flows into Litwin Bay between Stigant Point and Davey Point .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1960 after Captain Joseph Usher, who had operated with the sealer Caraquet from Liverpool between 1821 and 1822 in the waters around the South Shetland Islands.
