Usinger Land

The Usinger Land is a region in the Taunus low mountain range . It includes the cities of Usingen and Neu-Anspach as well as the communities of Grävenwiesbach , Schmitten , Wehrheim and Weilrod .

From a natural point of view, the Usinger Land is located in the eastern Hintertaunus , north of the Hohe Taunus and the Taunushauptkamm. The landscape is hilly and extends from the Usinger Basin to about 270 m. ü. NHN over the Steinkopf with 518 m. ü. NHN to the highest point, the Großer Feldberg , at about 880 m. ü. NHN. It is also in the middle of the Taunus Nature Park .
