Uta Taeger

Uta Taeger (born February 12, 1940 in Berlin ) is a German - French actress .

Life

After finishing school, Uta Taeger moved to Paris , where she studied acting at Cours Simon from 1958 to 1960 . Already during her student days she played theater and made her debut in small roles in the films The Hell of the Virgins , Who Hungry for Love and In the Sign of the Lion in 1959 . She still played in a few films like Do you love Brahms? and Live Life , and was seen more often on the theater stage. In 1982 she founded the theater group Le Théâtre de Procelaine .

Taeger was married to the musician Jean-Claude Darnal (1929–2011). She is the mother of the singer Julie Darnal and the composer Thomas Darna (* 1963).
