The Cours Simon is a state-recognized, private drama school in Paris founded in 1925 by the actor and teacher René Simon (1898–1971) .

It was the first such school in France.

After Simon, his colleague Rosine Margat (1927-2010), who began as a student in 1945 and was built up by Simon as his successor, started the school in 1968. In 2006 her book Je serai comédien! (Editions de La Martinière), which also contains a list of questions she asks acting aspirants. From 2010 Chantal Brière has been running the school.

The normal duration of training at Cours Simon is three years. Special courses are also offered to prepare for the entrance exams to state conservatories. There is also a range of advanced training and acting courses for amateur actors.

The address is 14 rue La Vacquerie near the Pere Lachaise cemetery.
