Anne-Charlotte de Turckheim (born April 5, 1955 in Paris ) is a French actress , film director and screenwriter .

Life

Anne-Charlotte de Turckheim is the daughter of Baron Arnaud de Turckheim and Françoise Husson. She is a member of a Protestant noble family that originally comes from the Upper Alsatian wine- growing town of Turckheim . She studied screenwriting, directing and acting at the Cours Simon . She then played theater before she appeared in the 1980 horror film La Nuit de la mort! Directed by Raphaël Delpard ! debuted on screen in a leading role alongside Jeannette Batti , Michel Debrane and Betty Beckers .

She made her debut as a screenwriter in the 1993 comedy film Une journée chez ma mère , in which she also played the lead role. She made her debut as a film director with the French-Spanish comedy Three Fathers Too Much with Victoria Abril and Alain Bashung and herself in the leading roles.

She was married to Jean-Marc Piaton, with whom she has three daughters, including Julia Piaton , also an actress.
