Bernard Campan (born April 4, 1958 in Agen , France ) is a French actor , film director and screenwriter .

Life

Bernard Campan was born in Agen and grew up with his father in Tours . After graduating from school, he moved to Paris, where he studied at the renowned drama school Cours Simon . He then played theater and made his debut in the comedy film Le téléphone sonne toujours deux fois, which he co-wrote and directed by Jean-Pierre Vergne . In the 1985 film, he played on the side of Didier Bourdon and Pascal Légitimus . With both of them he founded the comedy group Les Inconnus .

Together with Bourdon he made his debut with the comedy Alles keine Problem! as a director. At the 1996 César French film award ceremony , he was honored for the best first work. He received another nomination at the César 2003 in the category Best Actor for his portrayal of Philippe at the side of Isabelle Carré in the drama Claire - Se souvenir des belles choses .
