Claire - Se souvenir des belles choses (Alternative title: Claire - To remember beautiful things or Claire - A short story of forgetting) is a French love drama by Zabou Breitman from 2001.

The 32-year-old Claire Poussin, who lives with her older sister Nathalie, goes to Prof. Christian Licht's special clinic Les Écureuils for treatment . She loves thunderstorms and was struck by lightning in the forest a month ago. Since then she has had memory gaps and occasional word-finding problems . Prof. Licht thinks that he can discharge her as cured after a relatively short time, and Nathalie is also of the opinion that Claire is actually healthy. Claire, on the other hand, fears that the lightning strike is not responsible for her situation, but that she, like her mother, has Alzheimer's disease. The mother, who also went to Licht's clinic for treatment, passed away some time ago.
Claire, who is in the clinic during the day but spends the nights at home, gradually gets to know the other patients in the clinic: Toto, who can only be understood through the word "Toto", Daniel, who is vulgar and unkempt, the old one Léo Finkel, who was in the concentration camp, and Philippe, who lost his memory after a car accident in which his son and wife were killed. Over time, Claire and Philippe get closer. They kiss during a visit to a museum and Philippe soon realizes that he is in love with Claire. She in turn decides to move into a room in the clinic. Not only because it allows her to be closer to Philippe - she also feels that her health has worsened. She forgets more and more, and word-finding disorders also increase. The clinic staff is at a loss; but Christian Licht knows that Claire, like her mother, has Alzheimer's disease and that the disease is progressing rapidly. Claire also suspects the cause of her situation. When she is offered to move into her own apartment with Philippe, she hesitates. Licht advises against an examination that would confirm her illness.
