Bernard Le Coq (born September 25, 1950 in Le Blanc ) is a French actor .

Bernard Le Coq already played a leading role as Jean-Pierre in Michel Boisrond's La Leçon particulière . Supporting roles followed, alongside Michel Galabru in Honte de la famille , alongside Gérard Barray in Béru and these ladies and alongside Michel Serrault in Édouard Molinaro's La Liberté en groupe . Le Coq becomes known with Serge Korber's family drama Candlelight , in which he plays the uncomprehending son of a separated couple alongside Annie Girardot , Claude Jade and Jean Rochefort and drives his mother (Girardot) to her death. He then played Michel in Claude Sautet's César and Rosalie and played alongside Simone Signoret and Alain Delon in the Simenon crime thriller The Lioness and Her Hunter . Other important roles: Philippe Noiret's son-in-law in Even Murderers Have Nice Dreams (1980) and Theo in Maurice Pialat's Van Gogh (1991), for which he received a César nomination. He won the 2003 award for his role in the film Claire - Se souvenir des belles choses .
