François Levantal (born October 14, 1960 in Paris ) is a French actor .

life and work

Levantal appeared in French productions from the mid-1980s. He had his first major supporting roles in 1995 in Mathieu Kassovitz ' Hatred , in 1996 in Captain Conan and the Wolves of War and in 1997 in Dobermann . Also in 1997 he appeared again in Assassin (s), directed by Kassovitz .

In 2001 he played an SS officer at the side of Ticky Holgado in Le barbier . In 2004 he was seen in Jean-Pierre Jeunet's literary film adaptation Mathilde - A great love . In the television series Sur le fil , he took on the role of Philippe Munoz in 18 episodes between 2007 and 2010 .
