Ticky Holgado , actually Joseph Holgado (born June 24, 1944 in Toulouse , † January 22, 2004 in Paris ) was a French actor who was also active as a singer.

Life

Ticky Holgado, whose first name was actually Joseph, played primarily in French films and television series. He had supporting roles in most of Jean-Pierre Jeunet's films , such as Delicatessen , The City of Lost Children , The Fabulous World of Amélie and Mathilde - A Great Love .

Besides that, Holgado was also active musically. He sang in the rock group Ricky James & les Plastiqueurs and worked in the management of the singers Johnny Hallyday and Claude François .

Holgado died of lung cancer in 2004 at the age of 59 , which is why he had received medical treatment in previous years. He was married and had one child.
