From 1798 to 1914 the Hotel de Russie existed in Munich's Ottostraße 6, corner of Karlstraße. The chargé Fyodor Tyutchev supervised by Friedrich Ludwig Lindner , the public relations in the Russian-Turkish War of 1828-1829 , in 1838 donated Charlotte of Prussia (1798-1860) a high amount for the Greek Orthodox Church on Salvatorplatz for the pastoral care of the Russian embassy in the Theatiner- Schwabingerstraße Nro. 11 / I. Alexander III. (Russia) doubted the usefulness of having its own embassy in Bavaria in 1881. According to a Bavarian-Russian extradition agreement, the Bavarian authorities in Bavaria were able to extradite persons of Russian nationality who had become suspicious to Russia. Around 1900, Munich was a popular place to study for Russian students, who were looked after by the Ochrana Arkadij Michajlovič Harting ( Russian Гартинг, Аркадий Михайлович ) employee , who was actually accredited in Berlin .
