action

The action takes place in France in 1654. Eloïse d'Artagnan, daughter of the captain of the musketeers D'Artagnan , lives in a monastery. The head of the monastery helps a servant who fled from the Duke of Crassac, who is pursued by Crassac's henchmen and who finds shelter in the monastery, seriously injured. Crassac's people storm the monastery and kill almost all of the nuns and the refugee. Eloïse finds a bloodstained piece of paper with a message encoded in verse. Crassac's people are also looking for this cashier . Eloïse witnessed the murder of the abbess and swore revenge on the butcher.

Eloïse uncovered a conspiracy against the king. She leaves the monastery and travels to Paris to meet her father, who once helped the king with the musketeers in the fight against Richelieu . On the way, she meets a poet who finds her attractive and accompanies her from now on. Eloïse arrives in Paris and finds her father, whose former fame can no longer be recognized; the musketeer has grown old. D'Artagnan wants to put his daughter back in a convent. However, Eloïse thwarted his plans, among other things, by appearing at an audience of the king to discuss the mysterious message with Cardinal Mazarin . However, the cardinal is still scheming, tries to use the message for his own interests and to eliminate Eloïse. This calls for D'Artagnan, who recruits his old companions Athos, Porthos and Aramis from their "retirement" to fight alongside Eloïse against the intrigues of Crassac and the cardinal for the king and the disgrace in which the old ones Musketeers had fallen to undo. After a furious final battle and some surprising twists and turns, Eloïse and her remaining companions win; the encrypted message turns out to be a laundry list, and D'Artagnan is rehabilitated.
