The Red Siren is an action movie by French screenwriter and film director Olivier Megaton from the year 2002 .

action

12-year-old Alice arrives at a police station and accuses her mother, the influential arms dealer Eva, of the murder of her nanny. Only the policewoman Anita believes her, but is not allowed to investigate on the instructions of her boss, but is supposed to take Alice to a psychologist . Alice escapes from the station and is followed by two of Eva's employees waiting in front of the building. On the run, she hides in the car of the hit man Hugo, who helps her to escape her pursuers. When Alice tells him that she wants to go to Portugal to see her father Travis, who lives there, Hugo decides to take her there.

In the meantime, Anita has also traveled to Portugal in search of Alice. Without knowing it, she is staying at the same hotel as Hugo and Alice. After mercenaries hired by Eva try to kill Hugo, a wild shootout ensues in the course of which Anita kills one of the attackers. The next morning Alice disappeared, she went looking for her father by herself. Anita and Hugo take up the chase together.

Finally there is a showdown in Travis' workshop , during which Eva's men are killed and Alice shoots her mother.
