Marion Elskis
Marion Elskis (* 1960 in Hamburg ) is a German actress , voice actress and musician .
Life and accomplishments
Professional
She was seen on television in several series, including With Body and Soul , Großstadtrevier and Alpha Team . She shot with Liam Cunningham for the Irish broadcaster RTÉ . At the theater she played Barefoot in the Park or Murder on Call . She was on stage at almost all Hamburg theaters. From 1983 to 1988 she played at the Altona Theater . She received special attention as “Blanche” in Endstation Sehnsucht at Hamburg's Ernst Deutsch Theater . Among other things, she played "Molly" in the bitter comedy "Kaltstellen" at the Fährhaus in Winterhude and the main role in the German premiere of "Wenn Du tot would be" as well as a role in the successful play "Frau Müller muss weg" by Lutz Hübner .
She speaks Nicole Sullivan on "Rita Rocks" and Teri Polo on "West Wing". In the video games Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3, she speaks the German dubbing voice of Aria T'Loak. She speaks, among others, Holly Shumpert in King Of Queens . Her voice can also be heard in various radio play productions (NDR, Jumbo, Europe, etc.) as well as many advertising productions (Nivea, Telegate, Du kannst, Rotkäppchen Sekt and others).
From 1998 to 2006 she was a member of the music group Scarborough, which u. a. has appeared on ZDF and was in the German compilation charts with the title "Children of the world". In the meantime she works as a soloist. In October 2011 her first single "Herbst" was released, which ran very successfully on German radios and was in the TOP 20 of the airplay charts (conservative) for 5 weeks. With the song she also appeared on MDR in the primetime program "Autumn has come". She voiced Andie MacDowell , Bridget Fonda , Judy Garland , Neve Campbell, Jennifer Connelly and Sandra Bullock .
Private
Her daughter Lea and her son Anton are also radio play and voice actors.
