Tushka Bergen (born October 13, 1969 in London , England ) is an Australian actress , despite her different birthplace , who now lives in Los Angeles , but calls Sydney her home. She is the daughter of the English conductor Anthony Hose and the New Zealand opera singer Beverly Bergen. She spent her childhood and youth in England, New Zealand, Australia and Germany . She is married to CNN reporter John Vause, Australia , and has a daughter who was born in Los Angeles in March 2004.

She made her acting debut as an eleven-year-old student in the German television film Don Quichottes Kinder from 1981, where she was listed as Tushka Benthaak . When she was back in Australia, she appeared under her maiden name Tushka Hose in the films A Girl's Own Story (1984), Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome , also known as Mad Max 3 (1985) and the TV production Hector's Bunyip (1986 ) on. She then took the name of her mother and has appeared as Tushka Bergen ever since.
