Pascal Légitimus (born March 13, 1959 in Paris , France ) is a French actor , film director and comedian .

biography

Pascal Légitimus is the son of the French actor Théo Légitimus and the Armenian tailor Madeleine Kambourian. He is also the grandson of the French actress Darling Légitimus (1907–1999) and great-grandson of the MP Hégésippe Jean Légitimus . His grandfather Étienne Légitimus was a co-founder of the "Mouvement contre le racisme et pour l'amitié entre les peuples" (MRAP) and the LICRA. His uncle is the television producer Gésip Légitimus (1930-2000). Since his siblings and many of his relatives work in show business, he began to be interested in acting at an early age. As early as the 1970s, he played improvisational theater with some friends. After starring in the French television series Le petit théâtre de Bouvard in 1982 , he made his screen debut in 1984 in the comedy Pinot, Gendarme and Heartbreaker, staged by Gérard Jugnot , alongside Jugnot, Jean-Claude Brialy and Fanny Bastien . For his portrayal of Denis Serge Meynards comedy The Bedouins of Paris was Légitimus at the presentation of the French Film Awards 1988 César as Best Newcomer nomination.

Together with Didier Bourdon and Bernard Campan , he is a member of the comedian trio Les Inconnus .
