Fanny Bastien (* 13 December 1961 in Freiburg as Fanny Meunier ) is a French actress .

Life

Fanny Bastien made her debut on the big screen in the erotic film Tender Cousins directed by David Hamilton . She played her first leading role in 1981 as a pregnant student who was expelled from school in Le bahut va craquer , whereupon philosophy teacher ( Claude Jade ), math teacher ( Darry Cowl ) and school principal ( Michel Galabru ) were imprisoned by their classmates during a riot. She herself was at the center of the series Dorothée, the tightrope walker based on a novel by Maurice Leblanc : In the 1920s, the daughter of a murdered traveling circus man is on the hunt for treasure and is pursued by dangerous adversaries. This was followed by the film successes Das Assentat alongside Richard Berry and Engel aus Staub alongside Bernard Giraudeau . By the mid-1980s she had appeared in over 20 film and television productions. In particular for her portrayal of Josyane Krawczyk in Gérard Jugnot's comedy Pinot, Gendarme and Heartbreaker , she was named Best Young Actress at the 1985 César French film award . She was awarded the Romy Schneider Prize in 1988.
