François Périer

François Périer (born November 10, 1919 in Paris ; born François Gabriel Marie Pillu , † June 29, 2002 ibid) was a French actor .

Live and act

Périer received his acting training at the Paris Conservatory from 1937 to 1939. In addition to being on stage, he was also in front of the camera from 1938 onwards. Initially used in different roles, he played a cultivated homosexual in Hotel du Nord .

He took on his first major role in 1941 in the love film The First Ball . After the war, although he never had the status of a screen star, he became a concise actor who could embody both commissioners ( The Ice Cold Angel , The Girl and the Commissioner ) as well as dark power men. In the Italian / German TV series Alone against the Mafia , he was seen as a mafia lawyer.

In addition, Périer continued to play the theater and celebrated successes especially in plays by Jean-Paul Sartre , including The Dirty Hands , The Trapped in Altona and The Devil and the Dear God .
