action

Eddie Miller, the New York pilot of a Trans World Airlines plane , is always eagerly awaited by the airport employee Michèle. One day, however, the pilot is transferred to the New York – Tokyo route. At first he is happy about it, but later he flies to Paris as a passenger to see his Michèle again. He's proposing to her there.

She tells her uncle right away. But he is against it because he thinks that she doesn't know this pilot well enough and only loves him because of his job. Eddie wants to quit his job so that he can always be with his Michèle. But she wants him to remain a pilot because she loves the distance and only wants to lead a quiet life later. An argument breaks out, but there is no time to reconcile because the plane is about to leave for New York. The plane is hijacked by a drug dealer. Michèle overhears it by chance. The pilots overwhelm the kidnapper and then fly back to Paris. There the two lovers make up again.

Reviews

“Orly Airport in Paris serves as the backdrop for a romance between a pilot and a stewardess. Despite humorous efforts and an artificial drug smuggling story, largely boring and tensionless; hardly convincing in human terms either. "
