Ute Bress

Ute Bress (born February 15, 1936 in Völklingen ) is a German politician of the FDP .

Life and work

After completing secondary school and graduating from commercial college, Bress completed an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk in his parents' industrial company and then worked in this profession. In 1970 she started her own tourist business in Sankt Peter-Ording . In 1974 she passed the master's examination in housekeeping. She was chairman of the citizens' initiative Wohnwert Pinneberg-Nord .

Political party

Bress is Evangelical-Lutheran and has been a member of the FDP since 1967 .

MPs

From 1974 to 1986 and 1990/91 Bress was a member of the district assembly in the Pinneberg district , and since 1978 she has been chairwoman of the FDP parliamentary group there for 8 years . In 1987/88 she was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament . From 1990 to 1994 she was a member of the Pinneberg council assembly.
